Birmingham mother pleading for justice six years after son’s murder
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - One Birmingham family is asking people to come forward with any information, six years after their loved one was murdered.
31-year-old Roger Cheatham was shot and killed on August 16, 2016 in the 2100 block of 31st Avenue North.
We spoke to Cheatham’s mother, Angela, on the sixth anniversary of his death.
“Please come forward. It was me six years ago. It might be you. So I’m just begging please, because you might need somebody’s help one day, just like I’m begging y’all for help. And I just want to get justice for my son because he didn’t deserve this. He really didn’t,” said Angela Cheatham.
If you have any information regarding Cheatham’s murder, please call Birmingham Police.
